LA COMPAÑÍA

COMPAÑÍA RAMPANTE was born in 2015. Since its conception, it has created multidisciplinary shows with an honest inclination towards finding their own singularity and uniqueness. The scenic proposals are the result of the cooperation and fusions between circus, physical theater and dance, as well as their disruptions and their limits.

Their works expose the search for non-linear stories, the exploration of movement at the service of the theatre and the complete truth that the circus proposes. They built up a subtle and sensitive space of communication with the public.

Florencia Carosía and Luciano Ranieri begin researching together and release CON TENDA (creation 2015). After 6 years of uninterrupted touring, they release ROCOCÓ! (Creation 2021), a show that is currently preparing its 5th season. Their latest project SOMETHING ABOUT US will be finished by the end of summer 2025.

She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She studied at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts. Since 2007, she has participated as an actress in different plays and founded her own stable theater group that lasted 6 years. As an actress and journalist, she has worked for 7 years in different tv programs. She composes several stable fictional characters and film some movies. She collaborates as a reporter and scriptwriter for several social journalistic programs. Also, she writes for several magazines. She works under the direction of Pablo Delcassé, Gustavo Luppi, Claudio Ferrari, Marcelo Nacci, Patricio Orozco, Maxi Gutiérrez, Gabriela Iscovich, among others.

She continues her artistic exploration and training, focusing in clown, physical theater and circus. At the same time, she develops her dance technique paying special attention to tango. She dances in ballets, milongas and participates in the Tango World Cup 2009. In 2015 she creates Compañía Rampante where she develops the hand-to-hand technique, a singular movement research and the hand balance; creating multidisciplinary shows. She receives the award of the Teatro Nacional Cervantes in Buenos Aires for the dramaturgy of her first play "ONCE-BERLÍN".

He begins his training in Argentina at the Centro Cultural Ricardo Rojas and continues at La Arena, under the direction of Gerardo Hochman. During these years, he takes different courses and training with various teachers and explores several disciplines within circus arts. He professionally practices juggling, hand to hand, chinese pole, and cyr wheel. As a teacher, he works at several institutions, such as the Escuela San Miguel Arcángel, El Circo de Las Artes, and Desdelaire. In addition he gives hand to hand workshops.

As an interpreter, he takes part in diverse companies and projects. Between 2006 and 2009, he works under the direction of Gerardo Hochman, participating in renowned shows such as El Casamiento, Milagro, and Fulanos. In 2009, he collaborates with Impulso Circo. Through collective creation, they release 2 shows. In 2010, he joins Circo Alboroto, touring, performing, and participating in the Argentine Government's State Program, Chocolate y Cultura. During this period, he takes street art to various provinces and towns across the country. In 2015, he founds Compañía Rampante, where he continues to explore and go far deep into the exploration of movement and hand-to-hand technique.
